CLINICAL DIAGNOSTICS
Olaris® combines metabolomics, machine learning and biology to revolutionize how diseases are diagnosed and treated. With an initial focus on transplant, we are developing diagnostics to transform the transplant journey.

myOLARIS™ - KTdx measures urinary metabolites combined with BKV PCR and serum creatinine values to calculate a score that correlates with the likelihood a transplant patient has a stable graft or a graft injury that could be caused by inadequate immunosuppression including under-immunosuppression experiencing borderline or active rejection or over-immunosuppressed, experiencing polyomavirus associated nephropathy (PVAN).

The findings are applicable to men and women who have received a kidney transplant and are receiving the immunosuppressant tacrolimus and mycophenolate.

Urine is collected in the myOLARIS™ - KTdx collection kit either in a physician office or at home, sent back to our CLIA lab in Framingham MA and a report will be sent back to you including a myOLARIS™ - KTdx score. The score uses a proprietary algorithm to identify the likelihood a patient has a stable graft or graft injury by comparing the patient’s urinary metabolite levels and clinical labs to those of previous patients with defined clinical phenotypes based on matched biopsy results. The score ranges from 0 to 100% Stable or 0 to 100% Injury with higher scores having more confidence in the diagnosis.
